Those pictures were taken on July 3rd, Terrace Pond Swim Hike.
This swim hike was a success. Eight people showed up. We hiked two hours to the pond, spent two hours at the pond, then hiked
two hours back to the parking lot.
Everyone brought food to share. Johnny bought a twenty pound water melon. Most people went into water. Everyone had a good time.
On our way back, we ran into
bears. First we encountered a baby bear about 10 yards ahead of us, climbing down a tree. We froze right there for 15 minutes. Then later we saw a mother bear appeared on the trail about 15 yards away
running away from us.
